Wingo, who left ESPN last November after 23 years with the Disney-owned network and was one of its most prominent faces for NFL coverage, will be using Caesars’ platform to develop and create content for distribution across social media and other outlets.

“I want to tell the stories behind the odds,” Wingo said in a statement released by Caesars. “I am excited about where the Caesars brand is going, and I wanted to be part of the team that is creating content to engage our sports bettors.”

Caesars Sportsbook, which also is the exclusive odds provider for CBS Sports, has been undergoing a huge public makeover in its rebranding from William Hill. Smoove to drum up attention in the 14 states (and District of Columbia) where it currently operates, including the top three markets of New Jersey, Nevada, and Illinois.

Caesars also has market access to three additional states, including Arizona, which is expected to launch sports betting in time for the NFL season.
