Las Vegas, NV (July 11, 2022) – As part of the previously-announced WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas on December 1-20, the WPT Ladies World Championship will be added to the lineup of events. The WPT Ladies World Championship will take place December 16-18 and carry a $1,100 buy-in for women, and offer a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The WPT World Championship will feature more than 20 events, three of which will be televised. Those include the final tables of the previously-announced WPT World Championship and WPT Prime Championship, as well as the recently-announced WPT Ladies World Championship. The final table of the WPT Ladies World Championship will be recorded for World Poker Tour linear and over-the-top platforms, and showcase the final six players to millions of viewers all over the world.

Players who reach the final table will play out the remainder of the tournament on December 18, with recorded coverage airing in the upcoming WPT XX season. The televised component is made possible by World Poker Tour’s in-house production department, Studio.
