Updating the Phil Ivey v Borgata saga: card company says Ivey knew Borgata was “lax” by John Brennan

The latest events in the multi-year lawsuit in which Borgata casino in Atlantic City accuses legendary poker player Phil Ivey of cheating them out of $10M by exploiting a defect in the mini-baccarat playing cards used in four lengthy sessions of play in 2012:

First, Gemaco – the manufacturer of the cards used in these sessions that had a barely perceptible flaw that Ivey’s companion could detect to “rig” the games is trying to escape the lawsuit.
