Phil Ivey granted appeal to British court in baccarat case by John Brennan

We have often chronicled Phil Ivey’s $10M battle with Borgata casino in Atlantic City over winnings from a series of 2012 visits where he won the money at mini-baccarat with the help of an “edge sorter.”

What is more remarkable is that he pulled off virtually the same achievement earlier at a London casino (at punto banco, a baccarat variant) for a similar amount of money – the difference being that he had the Borgata winnings sent to a bank in Mexico, while Crockfords in London refused to pay.
